Your generous donation to The Closet Unlocked will fund our Black Queer-created, written, and produced multimedia programs while extending community members' financial and social capital resources and wraparound support.
Where does your donation go?
When supporting our mutual aid fund, helping to pay talented creatives, engaging in opportunities to champion health equity, or supporting art education, our donations go directly toward supporting Black LGBTQIA+ people. Your contributions will help improve the lives of many individuals that we connect with.
Donations of the amounts listed below can equal these impactful results:

Funds the purchases of materials needed for wellness & sexual health kits to distribute to Black LGBTQIA+ people through community education outreach.
$50
Assists with purchasing and donating LGBTQIA+ affirming books to education, social impact, and community-based organization partners.
$100
Sponsors our mutual aid fund to cover a subsidized series of legal and mental health services for Black LGBTQIA+ youth and adults in need.
$200
Helps to pay and hire Black Queer talent (entertainers, poets, musicians, etc.) for our events and covers the cost of supplies needed for safety.
We also accept giving monthly to continue supporting our mission of creating more financial and career development opportunities for Black Queers, Trans, and Nonbinary people who are committed to combating inequities, building community, and creating sustainable lives together.
